About Trap The Cat
Trap the Cat is a turn-based enclosure puzzle on a hexagonal board. You block one cell, then the cat takes a step toward the edge.
Winning requires cutting off escape routes early enough that the cat cannot walk around the barrier you have just placed.

How to play Trap The Cat
- Inspect the cat's starting position and the existing blocked cells.
- Click an open hexagon to block it, then watch the cat's response.
- Close the remaining exits before it reaches the edge, or use Reset for another board.
Controls
Click an open hexagon to block it. The cat moves after your turn. Use Reset to start another board.
Tips for your next attempt
- Build barriers ahead of the cat's likely route instead of blocking only the cell beside it.
- Use existing blocked cells as part of the enclosure so fewer new moves are needed.
- Count the open paths on both sides of your proposed wall; a long barrier still fails if one end stays open.
